Me

Organized by Tasha at her house, they managed to scam me on that day. We were supposed to meet for lunch at Butcher Shop, but there's something fishy going on I couldn't tell. Then when I asked Tasha, what time shall we meet at the restaurant and she said, "can you come over first, I need help with my MacBook.." so okay...but I was hungry already ! Nv mind, helping a friend is more important than food, so I thought.

Then when we enter Tasha's house...SURPRISE!!! I saw blue and white balloons...then it hit me... I KNEW IT!! YOU GUYS!!!!

Tasha prepared most of the food, steak from The Butcher Shop, salad (i haven't touch the salad, because other food seems more inviting)
, crab cakes, roti canai and chicken curry from our favorite breakfast place, cheeseboard with condiments, fresh strawberries and chokkies, some bubbly and popcorn. Bee made seafood pasta. The food was yummy! Perfect for me whose hungry to the max

Wait, the best part is yet to come...we had two Thai male masseuse for the tired and aching mom-to-be and for other moms too.. That was just what I need! Indulge with the massage after a good food was great. Later two girls from a salon showed up, some having waxing, some doing mani/pedi..The day was just super!

Later in the evening, after work, Kalle joined for dinner. All the others left and he had to carry all those gifts home. I had a fabulous time on that day.

Thank you ladies. Love you all!

The loan are essential for guys, which are willing to ground their own organization. In fact, it's not hard to get a car loan. Wed 7-Jul-2010 08:27

As one of our friend, Amiza entering her 7th month, we surprised her with a party she know nothing about. The afternoon went so well, we all had a fantastic time..including the husbands who arrived later in the evening to pick up the wives and kids playing together. Each of us brought food for the party, after lunch we played some baby games and talked about moms and kids and girlie girlie stuff...it was fun. The party continues with two girls from a salon showed up (thanks to Tasha) giving massages and mani pedi for the mom-to-be and other mommies too...Couldn't have been better evening spent with friends and newly-met friends.

cupcakes from Sugar Daddy's..fabulously delicious

note: the champers were only for non-pregnant ladies..we just pose a toast with it

New Project- Camping Al Fayah Jan 2010

Weekend activity-camping. We only had 2 cars, so we decided not to venture far in the desert. the view was not that impressive but still good.
Until the next day when the boys are planning to 'play' around the dunes and the jeep was stalled..refused to start. We had to wait for 3 hours for the tow truck to arrive and towing the jeep away and the driver was quite new to the place and we think he was lost or missed some turns..
Thankfully we had some Bengalis at Al-Fahady Quad Bike Rental not too far away from the location to help us talk to the tow truck driver in Hindi so he could get to us quicker.

It was certainly an experience in the gulf.

You would enjoy reading "First Overland" by Tim Slessor. The story of a Landrover expedition from London to Singapore and back. This book first published in about 1962, but has also been republished recently. Sorry to hear of your misfortune with your vehicle. Seeing your camping site, I couldn't help think, not many trees to hide behind! Thu 11-Feb-2010 03:15

Thank you! I just placed an order for that book
Note: We are selling that jeep ! any buyer? hehe, the problem was 5 out of 6 fuel injectors were full of debris (sand to be exact) coz the service centre keep driving or running the tyres when the tank was almost empty and injected sand into the engine..cost a fortune, but we convinced them that they shouldn't drive with an almost empty tank, so they bear the cost...(lots of sneaky muppets here)..and now works fine..hopefully thanks for dropping by my website..please come again

Burj Dubai now known as Burj Khalifa

The tallest building in the world, standing at 828m. Grand opening was on Jan 4th, 2010 with thousands of spectators locally and live broadcast across the nation and worldwide. Marked by a huge fireworks (so I've been told, because I was out of the country on that day)...and massive traffic jam afterwards.

It is impressive, I wonder how deep into the ground it goes. Is it same again! Sat 30-Jan-2010 03:36

I got this from the UAE Emaar info : '192 piles, each pile is 1.5 m in diameter and 43 m long buried more than 50 m deep underground.'
So it's 50m deep...

Hi all...since FBs' existence, people opt to keep in touch and follow the progress there..leaving the fotopage.com one step behind...and it's quite hard to keep updating two pages. And sometimes uploading photos here can be a pain in the back side..a lot of time I just bailed out because it takes forever to upload one photo (and normally one photo at a time)...

But for the public view, I still prefer FOTOPAGES.com

Come back soon! new pictures are on the way

I like to view your photos here Though there is the picture option on FB, too much other stuff overflows the photos sometimes. Here, it is all there is - photos, and you can really concentrate on them. Wed 30-Dec-2009 20:40

Viva Las Vegas Part II

Since last January Kalle and me went to Las Vegas for my birthday, I said to myself: "I'd be back here one day, maybe within a year with some girl friends". After all it is Las Vegas, shopping was good, everything within reach..good shows to see and casinos everywhere (not that I'm a big gambler, but enjoying this illegal-in-some-countries makes it more to look forward to)

So I ask a friend of mine to join me, and she said yes. Super! Let us buy our annual leave ticket so we won't be stranded in LA. An absent day after a holiday does not bring us any good. This time I'd get to see many shows-->thanks to my lucky hands on Blackjack table. I won several hundred dollars spreading out during our stay and those money I used to buy our show tickets (see, the house will always win..indirectly) Since I can't use the money to buy food (its haram money..hehehe) so show tickets it is.

First day: She was already in my hotel room waiting (coz she just came back from Mexico with her friend, but can't join us because holiday was over). At first I was quite upset with the hotel (Flamingo Las Vegas) because they let my friend check in under MY NAME! Imagine if it was someone else or anything should go wrong and she's not the person who supposed to be there..then I'm screwed! But I took it positively (which I shouldn't) and said to myself: "It's my freaking holiday..don't ruin it on the first day"

She told me first thing that she already booked me for a pole dancing lesson tomorrow afternoon..helloooo! But...it's good to have a surprise sometimes which I'm quite lacking these days...

First night we went to see Chippendales at The Rio Hotel and Casino. We are two girls having a ladies night out..what else do we have in mind...go all out and let our hair down! Fabulous show, very erotic, heart-pounding-ever-so fast and sometimes skipped a beat during their removing-their-thong and cover it with a palm or hat. The crowds(99% ladies) were screaming! We shared our table with a quite an old women (maybe in their 70s)..i know....WTF!! very desperate old women we thought..so our scream was kept to the minimum...we don't want them to get a heart attack by our yell and shout, do we? They sure know how to work on girls fantasies..the builder outfit, the sailor, the scene on the bed with movements leave very little to the imagination, the matrix with the long coat and super sexy move..arrrghhh...you name it. Feel like taking the men home at the end of the night. Worth coming again, I see...muahahaah!
Then after the show they'd come to the Flirt Lounge and we can actually interact with them, taking pictures, sign autograph and who knows what else...(if you know what I mean)

me and one of the dancer, Juan

he signing my Chippendales poster

After the first night we had our fun with the dancers, the next nights we spent time watching shows, one of them was Zumanity. It was the best show I've seen on this trip. Of course it is by Cirque Du Soleil..recommended!

we even bought a wig to feel the sexiness from the show

Excalibur Hotel and Casino at the background

Hanna in blue at The Blue Man Group, after the show at The Venetian

During the days, when she went for her one hour pole dancing class (I went once, and that's it) not that it's not worth it, it's just that once you know one lesson, you'd know them all, besides I don't have to go to the class to learn how to be sexy..
So I'd rather spend my time sleeping or just walking around the area or play some blackjack until she finish and off we go to another show and then dancing afterwards..Life's good!

outside Voodoo Lounge at The Rio

after Penn & Teller Show, gosh he's big!

Teller..he does speak!!

at The Bellagio (one day I'd stay here )

Flamingo, view from our window at night

Suddenly the holiday came to an end, what a week! My friend had to leave 2 days before my return ticket date, so instead of changing the date same as her, I decided to extend 2 more nights..I then have time to enjoy what I enjoy most--shopping! and chill.. which was hard to do when we had so less time to shop, our days filled with shows and dance and sleep during the day..So, to all girl friends out there...anytimw you gals want a company to Vegas...gimme a shout! I'd be more than happy to tag along....and when I have kids, my husband can take care of him/her...!!

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland

I tagged along Kalle for his trip to Ireland. Then met my good buddy A.Z. who's conveniently visiting his friends in Dublin at the same time.
So, we arranged to meet up in Cliffs of Moher, he and Seha from Dublin and we were from Limerick.
It was raining (typical Irish Summer/Fall) but we managed to get some pictures before it was pouring again just before we were about to leave. Was a good week though.
